Brimming with business, a manufacturer near Manitowoc has turned away millions of dollars in sales because it can’t hire enough help.

When a garbage truck makes a stop to pick up a refuse container, the mechanical arm that picks up the container needs to work right every time — no matter the container, the location or the weight loads.

Amerequip employees, their families and friends celebrated the companies third expansion with an open house. 

Earl Halbach retired on May 31, 2017 after 34 years with Amerequip.  Earl worked at our Engineering facility in the Experimental Engineering department.

Amerequip will receive the first-ever Wisconsin Association of School District Administrators "Bert Grover Child Advocacy Award — Business." 

With another major expansion project almost complete, Amerequip, a Kiel-based designer and manufacturer of custom equipment for the lawn, landscape, agricultural, construction and industrial markets, is also expanding its workforce.

Mel recently retired on January 31st with 33 years of service at Amerequip. He was a Welder and Line Leader at our Kiel Weld facility.

Amerequip was recognized by the Wisconsin Association of School Boards and the Kiel Area School District for supporting schools in the local community.
